Lamett Europe buys oak wood flooring manufacturer Morava Wood

Lamett Europe NV, based in Deerlijk, Belgium has acquired 100% of the shares of the leading solid wood flooring manufacturer Morava Wood, based in Unicov, Czech Republic.
Morava Wood employs 85 people and is known for being a quality supplier of solid oak wood floors to European home-improvement stores, professional distributors and floor retailers. The company sources all its raw materials from sustainable forests and is vertically integrated from sawmill to finished products.
Bruno Descamps, Managing Director of Lamett Europe said : “This acquisition is an important step in our company development. This move is one step in our aim to become a fully integrated manufacturer of high quality wooden floors made in Europe.”

There is no denying that this acquisition equals an important reinforcement of Lamett Europe’s image as “parquet specialist”. Lamett Europe is a distributor of flooring in Europe with sales in 24 countries. Besides wooden floors, Lamett also supplies laminate and vinyl flooring.
