Roundwood prices in Estonia decreased during April 2016. Moreover, the industrial wood was the sector that decreased the most.
Softwood sawlogs are 2-5% cheaper compared to March, but the overall prices have declined by 6.7%. Birch plywood price has decreased by 3%, while birch sawlogs maintained the price level. Aspen sawlogs’ price has fallen by 9% compared to the previous year and fell by 1.6% compared to the previous month.
Also, the pulpwood price is on a downward trend.
