The German producer price index for wood products in August shows an increasing number of products whose price has fallen below the previous year's level. This is the case for more than half of the listed products (See table below). Back in July, a significant downward trend in prices was observed. In August this trend seems to continue, though at a slower pace.
Pellets and particleboards dropped the most as compared to July, by one point.
