In 2022, the Andritz technology group achieved the best results in its history in terms of orders, revenue and operating result. The company started the new financial year with a record book of orders of around 10 billion euros.

Some key highlights from Andritz FY 2022:
- The value of received orders of 9263.4 million euros reached a record level and was 17.6% higher than the previous year's figure of 7879.7 million euros. All four business lines of the group contributed to this growth.
- Backlog at the end of 2022 amounted to 9976.5 million euros, which is significantly higher than the previous year: +22.2% compared to 8165.8 million euros in 2021.
- Revenue for fiscal year 2022 hit a new record high of €7,542.9 million, up 16.7% from €6,463 million in 2021.
- Operating result (EBITA) increased slightly more than revenue and reached 648.5 million euros, which is also a record level: +18.7% compared to 546.5 million euros in 2021.
- The company's net profit increased by 25.1% compared to the previous year from 321.7 million euros to 402.6 million euros.
With continued good business development and strong bookings in the past fiscal year, Andritz expects to continue its lucrative growth path in 2023 and increase revenue and profits.
