Brazil doubles plywood exports to EU
In June, Brazilian exports of plywood to the European Union jumped 93% year-on-year to 76 thousand m3. The value of exports soared 81% to $33 million. Average price of Brazilia's plywood in the EU decreased 6% to $429 per m3. Brazil replaces plywood supplies to Europe from Russia, which is under the EU sanctions. In April, plywood exports from Russia to the EU fell by 40% compared to the same period last year, and supplies will completely stop from July 10.
