Fall in EU softwood lumber exports to the US
European softwood lumber exports to the USA experienced a downward trend in the first seven months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. The total volume of exports from the European Union declined from approximately 2.39 million cubic meters in January-July 2023 to around 2.17 million cubic meters in January-July 2024, marking a decrease of 9.18%.
