The furniture industry in Germany is expected to report generally stable sales for the whole year 2017, after three years of strong growth.
Volker Fasbender, Managing Director of the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDMA), stated that after a sales increase of 3.2% in 2016, the industry was cautiously optimistic. During the IMM Cologne 2018, on January 10th, he added that during the Q1/2017, a plus of 3.1% was reached.
