Italian softwood imports go down by 1% in 2015

The Italian softwood imports decreased by 1% in 2015 due to the fact that Austria, the lead supplier for Italy, had a 3% decrease in imports, which was yet offset by Finland, France and Latvia’s upturn in imports.
The import share of the non-EU suppliers was under 12%, with the biggest imports coming from Bosnia and Belarus. Russia’s imports decreased during 2015.
