Latvia: Softwood sawlog prices reach unprecedented levels

Latvia's timber market is currently experiencing rising prices for roundwood, which have been affected by global market movements and also by Covid 19. This is especially true for softwood sawlogs, where unprecedented price levels have been reached, allowing Latvian forest owners to sell pine sawlogs with more than 135 EUR/m3.
