During May 2016, roundwood prices in Lithuania kept the descending path, as compared to 2015. Except for birch pulpwood, which remained stable, and pine pulpwood, whose price increased by 4.34%, all the other pulpwood and sawlog prices registered a sharp decline.
On a yearly basis, small-sized softwood decreased by -18.8%, registering the highest decrease, followed by pine sawlog, which went down by -11.3%. Also, alder, spruce and birch are cheaper by -5.35%, -4.76% and -4.16% respectively.
