Plywood plant worth $61,5 million to be built in Kirov, Russia

SevLesPil JSC plans to build a large modern plywood manufacturing plant in the Murashinsky district of the Kirov region located in southeastern part of European Russia.

The Russian company, based in the Republic of Komi, will invest more than $61,5 million in the work at the construction site and the equipment for the plant.

As reported by Russian Construction, the activities on pouring concrete for the foundation are 80% completed and the main production unit is erected. Also, the development and expertise of project documentation regarding electric network connection are underway.

Moreover, the site for the construction of a boiler house is prepared, while the equipment is already purchased. Once the construction is ready, 400 high-tech jobs will be available.
