Current wood pellets production in Poland is close to 1 million tons per year. Along with imports, the Polish wood pellets market was somewhere around 1.2 million tons. Since 2014, Poland has steadily increased production and exports, from 600.000 tons to 1 million of today. The main export markets are Germany, Italy and Denmark.
On average, the price per tonne of pellets in Poland varies between PLN 400-950 (EUR 100-220). The cheapest, low-quality pellets, can also be bought at PLN 400 (under EUR 100/t)
