The export value of Russian softwood sawn timber in 2018 was about $92 million, an increase of nearly 38% compared to 2017, 85.5% compared with 2015 and an increase of 81% over 2016. Russia's export of hardwood sawn timber increased 2.7 times compared with 2017 and 15 times compared with 2016.
Russian sawn timber and wood processing products exports are growing rapidly, with an average annual growth of 10%.
