In the first five months of 2016, Sweden has exported about 5 million cubic meters of softwood lumber. This represents a -10% decrease over the same period of 2015. Most of the exports to the world decreased dramatically compared to 2015.
Main export markets for the Swedish softwood lumber were the United Kingdom and Egypt, followed by Norway and Germany.
