Dieffenbacher to supply OSB plant to Tolko’s High Prairie mill
Tolko Industries Ltd. has commissioned Dieffenbacher to supply the core components of a CEBRO OSB plant for its production facility in High Prairie, Alberta, Canada. On May 20, 2022, a fire in the press building damaged beyond repair the Dieffenbacher twelve-opening press, which Tolko had commissioned in 1995, and much of the surrounding equipment. A state-of-the-art CPS+ continuous press will replace the previous press. Dieffenbacher’s scope of supply for the rebuild of Tolko’s High Prairie site also includes the forming station and forming line, and the raw board handling system. “It’s great that Dieffenbacher stepped up so quickly to help us after the fire,” says Fred Chinn, Vice President Strand-Based Business at Tolko. ” Chinn believes the plant will produce its first new board by year’s end. Dieffenbacher to supply particleboard plant to Greenlam South Limited in India
Greenlam South Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenlam Industries Limited headquartered in New Delhi, India, has ordered a high-end particleboard plant from Dieffenbacher for its new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. Commercial production of up to 265,000 m³ of particleboard per year is expected by the fourth quarter of financial year 2023-24. Dieffenbacher will supply the new plant’s forming station and forming line with prepress, the CPS+ continuous press with press emission control system, the raw board handling system and the dryer. Also included are engineering, electrics and plant automation for the complete plant and the proven and highly flexible Lukki raw board storage system. World’s largest MDF plant to be build in China
With the construction of an 80 meter long CPS +, DIEFFENBACHER sets a record for the world's longest continuous press for the production of wood-based panels. The press is the heart of an MDF plant that the Chinese wood-based panel manufacturer Guangxi Lelin Forestry Development Co., Ltd. ordered from DIEFFENBACHER in July. Wei Mingkuai, CEO of Guangxi Lelin, is pleased about the renewed cooperation: "We are planning nothing less than the construction of the largest MDF plant in the world and are very happy that we have DIEFFENBACHER as a partner at our side again."
