In the first half of this year, the USA imported 17.2 million m³ of softwood lumber, which is 6% or almost 1.2 million m³ less than in the first six months of 2022.
Deliveries from the EU countries will also be included in this period 2.5 million m³ (+14% or +320,000 m³) and those from Germany with 1.3 million m³ (+21% or +231,000 m³). This emerges from the current US foreign trade statistics.
