Where will the Chinese furniture exports be redirected as trade war with US hit shipments and prices?

Just as the American hardwood industry has long been worried about the "eggs" that put more than one-half of the export value in the Chinese basket, the Chinese furniture industry is equally worried.

When the Sino-US trade war became more and more fierce, this fear became a painful reality: shipments and product prices fell sharply. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce of China, as of the end of July this year, China’s furniture exports to the United States fell by 19%, while overseas buyers in the United States and Canada at the Shanghai International Furniture Fair in September decreased by 36%.
