Wood prices jump high in Poland; now comparable to Germany and Sweden

Recently, there has also been a significant rise in wood prices in the Polish wholesale market, which are now comparable to costs in Germany and Sweden. Economic recovery after the pandemic stimulated demand for wood, while sanctions imposed on Russia and Belarus after the invasion of Ukraine limited supply.
